Replace 2004 isuzu rodeo ECM with a used one

      Is this possible with Maxidas? Customer replaced bad ECM with a used one. I would like to help them, is it a matter of changing the vin in the used ecm? Any help with procedure would be greatly appreciated.....thanks!!

     nope changing vins with the maxidas is not possible for that vehicle. also immobilizer its involved in been able to get it running that part could be possible.

     Thanks ede, you are correct. I couldn't communicate with the used one at all. I was able to access immobilizer though, thanks....

      They got the pin from a car dealer.

     Yeah client got the code from the dealer but i cant find where to go to match the new key to the car. I have a maxisys pro nnot trying to do a FOB just the chipped key. Any help would be apppreciated
